Locust Projects: 20/20

We're super stoked to be part of this art installation. Our hour is from midnight on the 7th to 1a on the 8th, and we'll be presenting Moments, a musical performance, video art piece and interactive netart piece.

20 artists/20 solo shows/20 hours Kicks off at 9pm on Friday, Sept 7 and continues til 5pm Saturday Sept 8.

20 artists and collectives who have never before exhibited at Locust Projects will each present newly commissioned works in one-hour solo exhibitions. Held over 20 consecutive hours, artists will each have one hour to install their projects behind a closed partition while another project is on view for one hour in an adjacent space through the open door. The partition slides over and then the next project is viewable, and so on.

Visitors will be able to experience 20/20 at any point day or night from a tent-covered viewing area outside the Project Room’s open garage.

Organized through an open call for proposals by two of Locust Projects’ three co-founders, Westen Charles and Elizabeth Withstandley, 20/20 is an ambitious project reflecting on twenty years of supporting artists and artistic experimentation.
